In the not-too-distant past, I have been a picture quilt artist and creator of pen and pencil drawings. Prior to becoming a professional historian, I was an entrepreneur: a fashion and accessory designer, boutique owner, and proprietor of online vintage clothing and specialty clothing shops.
One of these days, I’ll have a studio and enough leisure time again to take up my artistic pursuits again, particularly quilt-making.
